Maryse Had Her First Singles Match In Over 7 Years Against Brie Bella Last Night On SMACKDOWN LIVE

In the main even of SmackDown LIVE last night, former Divas Champion Maryse returned to singles action for the first time in over 7 years when she took on Brie Bella. Unfortunately, it wasn't much of a match.

Maryse had her first singles bout in over 7 years against Brie Bella last night on SmackDown LIVE, and while the French-Canadian Superstar - who just recently gave birth - looked fantastic and it turned out to be an entertaining segment, it wouldn't even really be accurate to describe it as a match.

The two women laid in a few shots, but it was clear that they were told not to mix it up too much and the whole thing was really just an excuse for Daniel Bryan and The Miz to get involved.

Still, we did get to see Brie punch Miz in the face again, so it was worth it!

Both husband and wife teams will face each other in a mixed-tag match at Hell in a Cell this Sunday.
