Massive Fatal Four-Way Universal Championship Match Set For WWE SUMMERSLAM Next Month
Many fans assumed that the Universal Championship match at WWE SummerSlam would become a fatal four-way after last week's shenanigans, and tonight on RAW it was made official. More details after the jump...
As tonight's episode of WWE RAW kicked off, GM Kurt Angle made his way out to the ring to address the Universal Championship #1 contender situation.
Last week, Roman Reigns took on Samoa Joe to decide who would go on to face Brock Lesnar for the title at SummerSlam, but Braun Strowman interjected himself in the match and threw a beat-down on both men.
You know where this is going.
Yes indeed, the Universal Championship match at SummerSlam in August will now be a fatal four-way between The Beast Incarnate, The Big Dog, The Samoan Destroyer, and The Monster Among Men.
This is really the best case scenario, because insiders had been reporting that Reigns was originally going to face Lesnar in a one-on-one match. Of course, chances are he'll win anyway - but Joe and Strowman's involvement makes things for interesting for sure.
