Since returning to WWE, Matt Hardy has reportedly pitched a number of ideas to WWE Creative and all of them have been ignored. As a result, the former Tag Team Champion has been used as a jobber to put other Superstars over but, for many fans, his loss to Erick Rowan last night was a step too far. 

As a result of that, Hardy ended up trending on Twitter and later took to social media in order to thank fans for their support and to seemingly acknowledge recent reports that he's leaving the company.

As we've previously told you, Hardy was able to agree with WWE from a financial standpoint but not a creative one. Once it became clear that the plan was for him to be used as an enhancement talent rather than being given any sort of meaningful TV time, Hardy reportedly made the decision to leave WWE when his contract expires on March 1st.
