Edge wasn't a part of Raw this week after Randy Orton's vicious con-chair-to attack a couple of weeks ago, but The Viper did once again make his way to the ring to tease an explanation. That never came, because he was interrupted by Matt Hardy.

Hardy and Edge have a lot of history, as the latter hooked up with Lita while she and Matt were still together. This was a real-life incident that became an angle, and Matt made mention of it during his promo. But he also put his former friend over and demanded to know why Orton did what he did.

Of course, Randy was only interested in an RKO, and while Matt managed to avoid the first one, he soon fell victim to the devastating move. Orton then grabbed a couple of chairs and delivered another vicious shot to Matt's head.

There's a lot of speculation that this will be the last time we see Matt on TV as he transitions to a non-wrestling role in the company.
