Since late August, speculation has mounted over the future of Woken Matt Hardy’s in-ring career. The former WWE RAW Tag Team champion has teased that his stint inside a wrestling ring could be over. Should Matt call it quits, then the multi-time tag team champion should be proud of his storied career in professional wrestling.
While Matt’s been a former United States and Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight champion, he’s mostly notable for his time in the tag team scene in wrestling. While a good portion of Matt’s tag title runs were with his brother Jeff Hardy/Brother Nero, several of his tag title reigns were with different partners.
His last run with tag team gold was with Bray Wyatt, another with MVP back in 2007. While on tour in India, Woken Matt Hardy did an interview with Zerxes Wadia and revealed that Bray Wyatt was his favorite tag team partner other than Jeff:
"I would say my favorite tag-team partner other than Brother Nero would be the Consumer of Terrestrial Entities, that would be Bray Wyatt. As far as favorite title reign, that's a very hard question. They are all very meaningful. I would say the one where we (Brother Nero) returned to the 33rd edition of WrestleMania. It was very special because that was a magical moment."
