Matt Hardy is back, but he's not "Broken" anymore!

Despite persistent rumors that he'd be retiring soon and transitioning to a backstage role, the former Tag-Team Champion returned on SmackDown to take on The Bar with his brother and long-time partner Jeff as The Hardy Boyz.

After a quick back-and-forth bout, Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb for the win.

Matt looked noticeably slimmer and also seems to have ditched the Broken/Woken gimmick, which isn't really surprising as it never got over in WWE to nearly the same extent as it did in Impact Wrestling... as unlikely as that sounds.

Will The Hardy Boyz remain a tandem moving forward? Well, both of their contracts are reportedly up this year, so this could well be a short-term deal.
