It looks like Matt Hardy's segment with Randy Orton on this week's episode of Raw may have been the last we'll see of him on WWE television.

There was mounting speculation that this was the case when it was revealed that Matt's contract is set to expire later this month, and Hardy himself appears to have confirmed that he's finished with the company with the following Tweet.

Hardy returned to TV a few weeks ago after dropping his "woke" gimmick, but it was clear from the start that he was only going to be used in as a job... ehh, as enhancement talent. There's now speculation that he might follow the likes of Jon Moxley and Shawn Spears to AEW, and there's even a rumor that he may debut as the leader of the Dark Order at some point.

Whatever happens, it was nice to see Matt and Jeff back in WWE for a while and we hope they both end up somewhere that makes them happy.
