Matt Hardy Seemingly Received A Final Farewell At A WWE Live Event This Weekend

We've been hearing reports about Matt Hardy's in-ring career being over due to some nagging injuries and it appeared as if he received a final farwell from the WWE Universe at a Live event this weekend...

As you can see below, Matt Hardy took to Twitter last night to thank fans at a live event in Rochester, New York for a heartwarming send off in what sounds like it could very well have been his final WWE match. He received a standing ovation after teaming with Bray Wyatt against The B-Team and while nothing is official, it will be interesting seeing if he's given the chance to retire on TV.

Regardless, it's been widely reported that Hardy has already started working backstage and could ultimately receive a full-time position as an agent (his current contract is set to expire next March).

It's been said that Hardy has been working through his back issues but the fact his lower back started fusing with his pelvis is what led to him being forced to call it quits. With a career spanning 25 years, Hardy headlining the WWE Hall of Fame in the not too distant future seems inevitable. What do you guys think? As always, be sure to stay tuned for updates as and when we have them.
