Mayor Glenn Jacobs (a.k.a. Kane) Made A Surprise Appearance At A WWE Live Event On Saturday

During a WWE Live event in Knoxville, Tennessee on Saturday night, Mayor Glenn Jacobs made a surprise appearance to present a $100,000 cheque to the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation.

As you can see in the video below, he prefaced that by talking about some of his best moments in WWE, and while it wasn't quite a retirement speech, it's clear that WWE is on the backburner for now as he goes about his mayoral duties. As you may recall, the $100,000 was Kane's payment for working the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia back in November rather than him taking a fee.

It is, of course, possible that we'll see Kane appear during 2019 for at least one more match but an official retirement and Hall of Fame induction can't be that far off at this point. Stay
tuned for more!
