The WrestleMania online pre-sale kicked off yesterday but if you live in the New York area and were looking forward to checking out the On-Sale party at MetLife Stadium, we have some bad news for you. WWE has confirmed that due to bad weather conditions (snow and rain are expected in the Big Apple over the coming days), the event has been called off which makes sense when it takes place outside.

"The official WrestleMania On-Sale Party at MetLife Stadium has been cancelled due to impending inclement weather for this Thursday evening," reads WWE's official press release.

A number of matches had been scheduled for the event, not to mention appearances from WWE and NXT Superstars. While this news is disappointing, hardcore fans will have scooped up their tickets yesterday. If you were holding off, though, you can still get some by using the code "DOTCOM."
