Mia Yim And Mercedes Martinez's New Retribution Names Appear To Have Been Revealed

We were "introduced" to T-BAR, Slapjack and Mace this past Monday on Raw, and it now looks like the new names of the female members of Retribution, Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez, have also been revealed...

It looks like a WWE trademark filing has revealed the new names former NXT Superstars Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez will be going by as members of Retribution on Raw, and they're no better than the monikers Dominik Dijakovic, Shane Thorne and Dio Madden have been landed with. In fact, they're arguably worse.

Joining T-BAR, Slapjack and Mace, will be Retaliation and Reckoning. It's assumed that Yim will be the former and Mercedes the latter, but that's not entirely clear.

Look, we get what they're going for with these The Warriors-like names and Mad Max-inspired outfits, but WWE creative is going to have to put a lot of work in to establish these guys as a legitimate heel faction. This could still work, but they need to acknowledge the identities that these former NXT talents were previously known by and make it part of the storyline.

A couple of big wins over some main event stars wouldn't hurt, either!

What do you guys make of Retribution? Is there any hope for this faction? Drop us a comment in the usual place.
