Mickie James has worked closely with Alexa Bliss since returning to WWE but in terms of big storylines, we haven't seen a lot from her. However, many fans have wondered if she might be trying to get into a program with Becky Lynch after the two have spent weeks trading barbs on social media.
Well, it turns out that she just isn't a fan of "The Man" gimmick and in the video below, James explains why she thinks it's something of a step back (seemingly missing the point of it altogether, sadly).
"Relax folks, it’s Twitter. Come on! I mean it’s cool, she’s the man. That’s cool. And I’m the woman. I said it there and I’ll say it again, women have always been the dominant sex. So if you want to do this whole ‘I’m the man’ thing which I think went out in 2010, if you want to bring that back, that’s cool. But I’m a woman, I’m a grown ass woman, you know what I mean? And I’m proud of it. I love Becky though, I do respect her. I think she’s fantastic, she amazingly talented. I’m just better."
As of right now, Lynch is scheduled to face Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women's Championship at WrestleMania and we may or may not end up seeing Charlotte Flair become involved in that too.
