It's been confirmed that former WWE Superstar Mickie James will open up about her release and the incident that's become known as #TrashBagGate this Wednesday on the conclusion of Grown Ass Women (GAW) TV's 50th episode on YouTube at 5pm ET.
For those who haven't been keeping up, after being released by WWE (just days after WrestleMania and the company announced first-quarter record-breaking profits) James was sent her possessions from the WWE ThunderDome in a garbage bag. She took to social media to reveal what had happened, and it took no time at all for Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to apologise.
Oh, and WWE Head of Talent Relations Mark Carrano was fired too.
"I just thought it was time to open up and be real and speak from the heart about everything," James says. "Honestly, I didn’t do it for that reason and I never expected the outrage. There’s so much that people don’t know about behind the scenes and how things are handled. It wasn’t just about this one incident, but I think it’s important to address it, and I wanted to address it with my fans first on GAW TV."
This is going to be very interesting, and we have a feeling James will have a lot to say about the circumstances that led to her WWE release and the unexpected fallout of the trash bag incident.
Needless to say, we'll be sure to keep you guys updated with what James has to say on Wednesday!
