The Miz and Maryse recently sat down to talk about their popular reality TV series
Miz & Mrs on USA and the latter was asked about the possibility of wrestling again. That won't be any time soon, of course, especially as she's currently five months pregnant with their second baby!
However, Maryse was quick to point out that she wrestled just a few months after having their first daughter, so the door is definitely open to an in-ring return as far as she's concerned.
"I never say never," she teased. "When I had Monroe, I was back in the ring four months after giving birth. Five months after giving birth, I was main eventing Smackdown Live in a singles match, which has never really been done before, ever. So, if you were to ask me that when I was pregnant with Monroe, I would of laughed."
I would have said, ‘No, come on. Let’s not get crazy here,'" she continued. "And that happened. So, this second time around, I really don’t know what to expect because you never really know what to expect with WWE. That’s the beauty of WWE is that you just never know. And it just surprised us also because I been with this company for almost thirteen years and I still get surprised, so, never say never. You never know."
It would be great to see Maryse in WWE again, even if it's as The Miz's manager because that was a role she also flourished in. However, her in-ring work also was surprisingly good despite being not having an active role for quite a few years, so there's definitely room in the women's division for her.
For now, it seems we'll just have to wait and see.
