Last Friday, former football player Rob Gronkowski made his WWE debut on SmackDown in a cringe-worthy segment which also included Mojo Rawley, King Corbin, and Elias. It wasn't a huge surprise to see Rawley there as he's close friends with "Gronk," but the former 24/7 Champion is a RAW Superstar!
Well, it's now been confirmed that Rawley is part of the SmackDown roster as he's been moved to the blue brand on WWE.com. Moving forward, it appears as if Rawley will be closely involved in what Gronkowski is getting up to, including his hosting duties for the two-night WrestleMania.
WWE has never really given Rawley much of a push, and his weird heel turn was abandoned after months of strange backstage segments. This is probably going to be his best chance to shine, though, as being seen alongside "Gronk" gives him a chance to get some serious TV time (bear in mind that he's been signed with WWE since 2012).
We'll keep you guys updated as we learn more!
