The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for June 15, 2020 took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— Randy Orton started the show with a promo about how Edge reminded him what it felt like to be The Legend Killer. Edge is injured and not slated to return for another year. Christian came out and Orton challenged him to an unsanctioned match for later in the night.
— Kevin Owens defeated Angel Garza by pinfall.
— MVP and Bobby Lashley talked about how Lana was the reason Lashley lost at Backlash last night. Lana came out to say everything was fine until MVP came around, but Lashley agreed that it was Lana's fault. Long story short, Lashley wants a divorce.
— The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits defeated Akira Tozawa's ninjas by pinfall. Following the match, the big ninja (7'3" Big Jordan from the Performance Center) came into the ring, but Big Show made his return to help out The Viking Profits.
— Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio had another promo exchange with Mysterio via satellite. Mysterio's son Dominick already left for Raw before Rey knew about it. Rey warned Rollins not to hurt him, but Rollins said he'd only take him out if he's part of the problem and doesn't join his philosophy. Dominick then appeared and attacked Rollins from behind. Murphy and Austin Theory came out to help Rollins, but Dominick escaped.
— The IIconics (Peyton Royce and Billie Kay) defeated Liv Morgan and Natalya by pinfall. After the match, Kay and Royce challenged Bayley and Sasha Banks for another tag title match, just one team against the other team, without Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in the mix. Nobody came out, so they called them cowards and said they'd find someone who could get the Women's Tag Team Championship match set for next week.
— Big Show warned Christian that Orton's plan for the unsanctioned match is to do whatever he wants to Christian, but if it was him, he'd shut Orton's mouth. Christian accepted the challenge.
— Natalya complained to Liv Morgan about their loss and how nobody respects how she's built this division brick by brick. Lana then approached her to talk about how she's getting a divorce and how she's tired of being blamed for everyone's shortcomings. Natalya said she understood.
— MVP approached Apollo Crews with the idea that they should work together and he'll guide him to keep the United States Championship. Crews didn't agree with it, but MVP remained adamant that the only way Crews is going to hold onto that title is with him. Apollo Crews later defeated Shelton Benjamin by pinfall, but he won the match by hooking his arm on the ropes, which was technically cheating.
— MVP and Bobby Lashley challenged R-Truth and Drew McIntyre to put but their belts on the line in their tag team match. Later, R-Truth got the match changed so only the WWE Championship (and not the 24/7 title) was on the line. Thankfully, Drew McIntyre and R-Truth defeated MVP and Bobby Lashley by pinfall to retain the WWE title.
— Sasha Banks and Bayley came out for a promo about Bayley's birthday. The IIconics came out and taunted them until Bayley accepted to a tag title match for next week.
— Raw Women's Championship Match: Asuka defeated Nia Jax by pinfall to retain the title. Jax had pushed referee John Cone and was about to be disqualified when Asuka rolled her up for a pinfall and Cone made it a fast count.
— Randy Orton defeated Christian in an unsanctioned match by pinfall. All that happened was Ric Flair tried to convince Christian not to fight and when he told him he had to, Flair low-blowed Christian, which gave Orton an opportunity to punt Christian in the head and pin him. Medics came to help Christian and Orton told them to take care of him.
