Vince McMahon’s return captured enough curiosity to see the flagship show's ratings rise.
Last week’s record low ratings of the modern-era drew a dismal 2.19 million viewers average. The main event was a TLC match with Seth Rollins defending his Intercontinental championship against Baron Corbin, but viewers in large tuned out with the viewership on hour three dropping down to a 2.05 million.
This week’s ratings pulled 2.547 million viewers, the highest since mid-October. The first hour hit 2.717 million, dropping to 2.588 for the second hour, and falling to 2.367 million in hour three.
Vince McMahon was advertised heavily to “shake things up” in WWE and audiences were clearly curious about the direction of RAW post TLC.
