Charlotte Flair once again challenged Rhea Ripley for the RAW Women's Championship at Money in the Bank last night, and ended up walking away with the title. However, when the match began, fans in the building started chanting, "We Want Becky!" in reference to Becky Lynch.
Fans were convinced "The Man" would appear on the show, especially after the following photo was shared by Lynch on social media:
Becky is clearly about to return to the ring imminently, but WWE is holding off for...something! Flair, clearly playing into her role as a heel ended up giving fans the middle finger in response to those chants for her former rival and, as you can see, WWE tried and failed to censor that on the broadcast.
Needless to say, the attempt to hide this moment led to it spreading on social media like wildfire. Many have criticised WWE for being so overly sensitive to an edgier moment that was a great display of The Queen getting heat with the crowd and delivering a pitch-perfect heel moment in response to the chants (this also ensured those fans didn't hijack the match).
