As we've already told you, WWE is looking to attract younger fans to the product as ratings continue to fall. Now, it's said that The Street Profits are a good example of that and the plan is for them to continue appearing in backstage segments.

PW Insider says that even though most backstage segments are pre-taped earlier in the day, The Street Profits are allowed to go on live because WWE wants to keep as much energy in the segments as possible. The duo are reportedly coming up with their own material too, hence why their work doesn't feel as overly scripted as most WWE promos.

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins are still part of NXT and it seems strange that WWE is looking to get them over on the mic rather than in the ring. However, should their segments prove to be extremely popular in terms of ratings, we could see them make the leap to RAW soon.
