Rumour has it CM Punk is heading to AEW, but it's since been reported that Daniel Bryan is also heading to the company. However, while the Best in the World is only said to be in talks with them, we've heard that the Leader of the Yes Movement has already signed a deal!
Now, Bodyslam.net has shared another exclusive report, this time claiming that Bryan is scheduled to make his AEW Dynamite debut on the September 22 episode (dubbed "Grand Slam"). That's taking place in Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York, AEW's first show in the Big Apple.
Apparently, Bryan's debut is being saved for that show in order to give AEW time to wrap up storylines from the All Out PPV (a likely destination for Punk to make his arrival as it's in Chicago).
The site is firm in its belief that the former WWE Champion has signed with AEW, and it's thought Bryan chose to go there because he can work a limited schedule - for similar money to his WWE contract - and head back to Japan for what many would describe as being dream matches.
We're still waiting for other sources to weight in on this news, so keep checking back here for updates!
