In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it's been confirmed that The Revival has indeed asked for their WWE release. It's said that shortly after their match with Kalisto and Gran Metalik on this Monday's RAW, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder reportedly walked backstage and requested to be let go.

It's not clear how WWE will handle the situation or how much more time they have on their contracts but we could get another Neville situation here where they're forced to sit at home for the duration.

WWE may try and get them to stick around, especially as they must realise what a draw they would be for a company like All Elite Wrestling. The duo has had a lot of bad luck since hitting the main roster. After revolutionising tag team wrestling in NXT, an injury quickly ended their push and they've never been able to bounce back thanks to some terrible booking and matches, they're really not that over.

Who knows, perhaps this means we'll finally get to see Dawson and Dash square off with The Young Bucks!
