Hit the trumpets! Yes folks, it looks like Super Cena may have had a hand in putting the breaks on Baron Corbin's main event push.

According to Justin Barrasso of SI.com, John Cena was ultimately the "kiss of death" when it came to the decision to have The Lone Wolf lose his Money In The Bank cash-in attempt, and, subsequently, to Cena this past Sunday at SummerSlam.

Although other factors most likely contributed to Corbin getting a bit of a bad reputation in the locker Room, Cena was the one that decided he wasn't quite ready for the big push.

Of course, there may not be any truth to that - but let's just say it wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened.

Corbin should be fine, however, as word is he's about to enter into a feud with AJ Styles for the US Championship.
