Mustafa Ali explains why he didn’t speak on RAW Monday.

Before the latest episode aired, the former 205 star was being advertised to speak about his purpose about Retribution going forward. To recall, Ali was revealed as the leader of the new faction a week prior, attacking MVP and The Hurt Business.

Then, Monday Night RAW came and the group was mysteriously absent from the program despite being advertised. It was never mentioned once by WWE why Ali and his goons weren’t on the show, and there’s no backstage news yet on why the segment with Ali was scrapped for the Monday show.

Ali and the other Retribution members are doing the explaining on the writers behalf because the new leader went onto social media about why the group didn’t make an appearance on the flagship brand:

While the booking hasn’t been the strongest for Retribution thus far, there’s no denying that the group is trying their hardest to make sure this act works. At the moment, there’s no word on whether Ali will finally speak on the upcoming episode of RAW.
