We'd heard that MVP has signed a short-term deal with WWE but it may have been even shorter than we realised. As you can see in the Instagram post below, he confirmed that his final WWE match took place against Rey Mysterio during Monday night's episode of RAW

MVP made his surprise return during the Royal Rumble match on Sunday night and was tossed out by WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in short order. On RAW, he faced the Master of the 619 (his son's favourite wrestler) in a losing effort.

Honestly, this seems like a great way for him to bid farewell to the company and given his storied career in WWE, it's hard not to wonder if a WWE Hall of Fame induction is on the cards. Either way, he continues to wrestle on the independent scene so he's certainly not retired!
