MVP Made His Return To RAW Last Night To Square Off With Rey Mysterio

While he made a backstage appearance during RAW 25, MVP finally made his in-ring return during last night's RAW to face off with his son's favourite wrestler, Rey Mysterio. Here's how things played out...

There's no denying that it was Edge who got the biggest pop of the night when he made his WWE return at the Royal Rumble on Sunday but MVP probably wasn't too far behind! Appearing in front of his hometown crown in Houston, the popular wrestler didn't last a huge amount of time in the match as he was eliminated in short order by Brock Lesnar. 

Well, during last night's RAW, he made his return to the company for a match against Rey Mysterio. He recently took to Instagram to reveal that the Master of the 619 is his son's favourite wrestler and that he came back so the five-year-old could see him wrestle. Well, he must have been happy seeing his dad squaring off with the future WWE Hall of Famer! 

Unfortunately, MVP didn't pick up the win as Mysterio got the 1-2-3 after what appeared to be a botched 619 which saw MVP turn around when his opponent delivered the move. Check it out below:
