It sounds like former WWE SmackDown LIVE women's champion Naomi might be taking a bit of time off.

Following her beat-down at the hands of Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Live Morgan (aka Riott Squad) last night, WWE has provided an update on her condition, and given the severity of her (storyline) injuries, it's safe to assume Naomi will be out of action for at least a couple of weeks.

WWE pulled the same stunt last week when Ruby's new faction laid out Becky Lynch, so there's a good chance they're simply clearing the playing field a little until the new recruits settle in.
