While it was rumoured that the match was originally scheduled to take place at WrestleMania, Naomi challenges Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Championship during tonight's Super ShowDown PPV. Women have not traditionally been allowed to perform in the company, so this is definitely a history making match for WWE.

As you might expect, that's not lost on Naomi, and during an appearance on WWE's The Bump, she elaborated on how it feels to be challenging Bayley for the title at this event.

"I’m just super excited for the opportunity to get my championship back and this is an amazing experience," she said. "I remember last year when Nattie and Lacey had this opportunity and being at home and just being so inspired by them and happy for them."

"So, to be here myself at this moment is really special. Definitely had no idea I would be here or have this opportunity or this moment. So, I’m gonna take full advantage of it."

It's going to be interesting seeing whether WWE pulls the trigger on another championship run for Naomi, especially as Bayley's reign has grown a little stale in recent months. What would you guys like to see happen? Let us know your thoughts down the comments section!
