When Jade Cargill returned at WWE Elimination Chamber last Saturday night, she immediately went after Naomi, attacking her before the Women's Elimination Chamber match could even truly start, which resulted in Naomi being medically disqualified from the match and stretchered out of Rogers Centre in Toronto.
Tonight on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, the winner of that Elimination Chamber match, Bianca Belair, was in the ring for a promo segment where she called out Naomi, asking for some clarification of what's going on because she's too upset about her two friends fighting to be able to focus on her upcoming Women's World Championship match against Iyo Sky at WrestleMania 41.
Naomi came out wearing a bedazzled neck brace, which already should have signaled what was coming next.
As she danced around answering the question, saying things like how Belair should block out all the noise because it's distracting her from WrestleMania and that their focus should be on regaining the Women's Tag Team Championships from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, a distraught Belair continued to demand a straightforward yes or no answer for whether or not Naomi was the one who attacked Cargill.
Eventually, Naomi admitted it—not only that she had indeed attacked Cargill, but that she wishes that she had even done more to her. That is because in her mind, she did it for Belair, as Cargill had been riding Belair's success and riding off her name for all these months, and that upset her, so Belair should be grateful. Basically, another instance of how Rikishi infamously said he ran over Stone Cold Steve Austin because he "did it for The Rock", so it runs in the family, even when you marry into it!
Belair wanted nothing to do with Naomi after that, dismantling their partnership and stepping aside as Cargill made her way into the arena and stormed down the entranceway to once again go after Naomi, leaving her flat on her back once again.
