It's been a long time coming but WWE has confirmed today that Crown Jewel will feature Lacey Evans battling Natalya in the first WWE women's match to take place in Saudi Arabia. Read on for details...

At a media event in Saudi Arabia this morning, SmackDown commentator Michael Cole confirmed that the first-ever WWE women's match will take place at Crown Jewel tomorrow. WWE has been trying to make this happen for a while now with little luck but something has clearly changed.

As you can see in the video below, Lacey Evans and Natalya will renew their rivalry when they go one on one at the PPV. 

It's an odd choice of match considering the fact they're on different brands and recently put their differences aside to serve as a tag team. However, a military veteran like Evans and veteran wrestler like Natalya competing in this bout does make sense and is something WWE probably found easier to sell to the Saudis. 

What's going to be interesting is seeing how "fans" in Saudi Arabia react to the match taking place...
