New Day Member Big E Will Be Taking Some Time Off To Recover From A Meniscus Injury.

Big E hung around long enough to celebrate with fellow New Day member Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship victory at WrestleMania, but it looks like his main event match on SmackDown may have tweaked a nagging injury.

The former SmackDown LIVE Tag-Team Champion sent out a Tweet in the form of a rather bizarre haiku, revealing that he'll be taking some time away from the ring to deal with a meniscus injury.

WWE has since weighed in, confirming that E will be on the shelf for at least 6 weeks.
