New Details Emerge About Plans For "Woken" Matt Hardy And Plans For His Brother Jeff

Some fresh details have surfaced in regards to what comes next for Matt Hardy after his apparent breakdown on this Monday's episode of RAW and it appears as if he'll be "Woken" rather than "Broken."

On this Monday's episode of RAW, a defeat at the hands of Bray Wyatt seemingly led to the return of "Broken" Matt Hardy but it's now been revealed that while this character will be very similar to the one he portrayed in Impact Wrestling, he'll actually be referred to as "Woken" Matt Hardy. This is because there have been no new negotiations between Hardy and Impact Wrestling owners Anthem.

The plan, apparently, is for Jeff to also take on this "Woken" persona when he returns from his recent shoulder injury and the whole thing will presumably start playing out from next week onwards.

Matt has shared a number of Tweets teasing a personality change but the signs are pointing to him remaining on the
midcard for the time being unless the gimmick really takes off and fans once again get behind the "Delete!" chants. Are you excited to see the debut of "Woken" Matt and Jeff Hardy? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this news in the comments section down below.
