New Details Revealed About A Possible Power Struggle Behind The Scenes Of RAW And SMACKDOWN LIVE

You might not think that NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits making an appearance on RAW was a big deal but it sounds like there could be something of a power struggle happening in WWE right now...

According to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, the appearance of NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits on Monday's RAW was not an official main roster call-up. They are, however, expected to continue appearing on the show and he claims that what happened on Monday could have been a result of "backstage politics."

He didn't elaborate on that but it may have something to do with Triple H not wanting them on RAW yet and Meltzer speculates that their appearance was a result of RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman having his "fingerprints" on the show.

He adds that there could be a potential "battle" between Heyman and SmackDown Live Executive Director Eric Bischoff moving forward over who gets which NXT callups on their respective brands. Throw in the fact that Triple H will want to keep certain talents on NXT and there may be a real power struggle about to take place!

How do you guys see things playing out moving forward?
