On the surface, it appeared that Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo were the perfect couple, but they made headlines last month when the AEW star stopped following his fiancee on social media.
Neither party have commented on the status of their relationship since, but we're hoping they haven't called it a day. It's previously been reported that Andrade wanted Charlotte and Ric Flair to join him in AEW, though she remains one of WWE's top Superstars and is SmackDown Woman's Champion.
Now, Bodyslam.net is reporting that Charlotte and Andrade are no longer a couple and that the break-up was not mutual; apparently, it was Flair who decided to end it. We don't know what led to that decision or why she called it quits, but we're obviously sad for them both in this instance.
They first went public with their relationship in 2019 and later got engaged in early 2020. Despite Andrade leaving WWE, Flair frequently travelled with him to non-WWE shows.
Ric Flair previously praised his former future son-in-law on a regular basis, but it's worth noting he's made no mention of Andrade since launching his podcast. Andrade has also deleted any photos he did have of Charlotte from his socials, so it's looking like this report is 100% correct.
It goes without saying we wish them both the best.
