A new match has been added to the card for WWE WrestleMania 41, set to go down April 19th and April 20th at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
Kicking off today's episode of WWE SmackDown, Randy Orton went to the ring for a promo, only to be immediately cut off by Kevin Owens before he could even get a word out.
Owens tried to make an argument that he was justified in doing what he did to Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn, but that he overstepped with Randy Orton, and that if Orton could forgive him for his package piledriver and other attacks, then he could forgive The Viper for siding with Cody Rhodes. Once they settled that, they can repair their relationship, be a team again, and go after the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 41 side by side.
The Apex Predator wasn't receptive to this idea at all, saying that when Owens dropped him on his head, he started to hear the voices that were telling him to punt Owens, who has gone from "Fight Owens Fight" to "Bitch Owens Bitch" and is in line for getting his ass kicked. When they go to Las Vegas, he's going to kick Kevin's head off his shoulders.
Later in the show, it was made official and a graphic popped up that Owens and Orton will battle it out, but no other information has been revealed as far as any kind of gimmicks that may be added (which there's still time to make those tweaks) or which of the two nights this match will take place, as WWE has yet to finalize the card.
