New Report Claims That Luke Harper Isn't Really Back On The Road With WWE

Earlier this week, it was claimed that Luke Harper was back on the road with WWE after requesting his release but it's now said that isn't actually the case. Could he be All Elite Wrestling bound instead?

It seems as if there are now conflicting reports doing the rounds about Luke Harper's WWE future. While PW Insider claimed that the disgruntled WWE Superstar was back on the road with the company, Dave Meltzer now says in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources in the company are unaware of that happening.

He goes on to say that those close to Harper have not heard that he's on the road again and no one has heard about what comes next for him ever since Vince McMahon soured on Harper after seeing his match with Dominic Dijakovic at the When World Collide show.

Harper later requested his release but that was not granted and he hasn't been seen on WWE television since SummerSlam 2018 when he was teaming up with Rowan as part of The Bludgeon Brothers. Harper's current deal is set to expire in November but the company added six months to that due to the time he took off for his wrist injury.

However, Harper may be free to head to All Elite Wrestling by next spring.
