The Boss and Hug Connection recently promised to defend their newly-won WWE Women's Tag-Team Championships on Raw, SmackDown LIVE and NXT, and the pair were true to their word when they showed up at a recent round of NXT TV tapings at Full Sail.

Of course, Bayley and Sasha Banks rose to prominence on the black and gold brand, kicking the Women's Revolution into high-gear with a series of incredible matches.

According to reports from those in attendance, Sasha said it was "good to be home," before Bayley reminded the crowd that the last time they were in an NXT ring was for their historic Iron Woman match at TakeOver: Respect.

Though they didn't actually defend their titles, they did reiterate that they intended to do so in NXT as well as on the main roster. It would have been nice to have a pair of NXT ladies interrupt them to set up a future match here, but perhaps we'll see that on one of the upcoming TakeOver shows.
