It's time to celebrate The Game!
Next Friday's episode of SmackDown will feature a career retrospective of 14-time world champion Triple H, who is now in his 25th year with WWE.
The Cerebral Assassin actually jumped ship to WWF (as it was known at the time) from WCW, and began his career as the Connecticut Blue-blood, Hunter Hearts Helmsley. He received a moderate push, but his momentum was cut short after what's come to be known as the "Curtain Call," and the perception was that he was held back because of it.
However, Hunter soon reinvented himself as Triple H, forming DX with Shawn Michaels, The New Age Outlaws and X-Pac, and it wasn't long before he rose thorough the ranks as The Game, beginning his journey towards becoming one of the most decorated Superstars in WWE history.
Love or hate him, there's no denying that Triple H is a massive star, and has been involved in some of the greatest matches of all time. For that reason alone this celebration should be worth a look.
