Nia Jax Once Again Has Backstage Heat For Injuring A Fellow WWE Superstar: R-Truth

Well, this is hardly a surprise. It's now being reported that Nia Jax legitimately hurt R-Truth during the Royal Rumble and he was not happy backstage. Find the full story on that after the jump...

Nia Jax's entry into the men's Royal Rumble match ended up being one of the PPV's biggest talking points, especially after she took a 619 from Rey Mysterio and an RKO from Randy Orton. Before she entered the bout, though, Jax took out R-Truth so she could take his place in the bout. However, Jerry "The King" Lawler has now shed some light on what may have happened behind the scenes.

"This got real heat for real," Lawler said on his podcast. "She blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face first in that wall. He was hot, for real hot. They were having to hold him back."

Jax has injured a number of Superstars in the past due to how sloppy she is in the ring with Becky Lynch obviously another notable example. Why WWE doesn't do something about it is hard to say, especially as she's no better on the microphone than she is in the ring! Truth's United States Championship win could have easily been a way of making that up to him but we may never know for sure.
