We haven't seen Nia Jax on WWE television in almost a year, but the former Women's Champion returned this week on Raw with a dominant victory over Deonna Purrazzo.

Jax had been on the shelf recovering from double knee surgery, but her time away doesn't seem to have resulted in any ring rust, as she was arguably quicker and more agile than ever. The Virtuosa managed to get some brief offence in, but Nia shut it down almost immediately and put her opponent down for the 3-count with a devastating Samoan Drop followed by a new finisher.

If that cradle-DDT (she hasn't named it yet) looked familiar, it's because it's the same maneuver Paige used to utilize before replacing it with the Paige-Turner, and it turns out that's exactly where Jax picked it up.

The former Divas Champion and current WWE Backstage host sent out a Tweet revealing that she'd given her friend permission to use the move.
