Nia Jax Will Challenge Asuka For The RAW Women's Championship At BACKLASH

As we figured she would, Nia Jax emerged victorious in a No. 1 Contenders Triple-Threat this week on Raw, and will now face-off against Asuka at the upcoming Backlash pay-per-view with the title on the line.

Nia Jax is the new No. 1 contender for Asuka's Raw Women's Championship after emerging victorious in this week's Triple-Threat Match.

The Irresistible Force took on both Charlotte Flair and Natalya, with the winner earning an opportunity to challenge The Empress of Tomorrow for her title at the upcoming Backlash PPV. The match was pretty damn great for the most part, and all three Superstars were very impressive. It also helped that Asuka was on commentary!

Flair and Natalya attempted to lock on their submission holds on several occasions, but this proved to be their downfall, because Jax was able to interrupt The Figure-8 with a leg drop, before rolling The Queen out of the ring and hitting her Samoan Drop on Natty to pick up the win.

There was only ever going to be one winner here and Nat was always going to take the pin, but we the Nia/Asuka feud has been building nicely and should result in a pretty good match at Backlash.
