The Bella Twins appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night and Nikki revealed that she and sister Brie wanted to return to WWE to compete for the Women's Tag Team Championships. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen because her in-ring career is officially over because of her neck issues. Sadly, that's not all, though.

"I really wanted to go back and fight for the tag titles. I’ve always had my neck issues and after neck surgery, it hasn’t been ok. I feel like I needed to get that check up before we went back for the tag titles. I herniated the disc above where I had surgery. I had all this inflammation around the metal and I have a cyst on my brain."

That sounds a little worse than it is and while it's obviously extremely serious, it's likely a result of concussions and similar to what Daniel Bryan went through. Whether it's related to that or the surgery she's had, though, it could heal given time but certainly doesn't need to be aggravated by further matches. As a result, Nikki's career is, as noted, over.
