Nikki Bella Unsure Of In-Ring Future Due To Neck Injury And Addresses TOTAL BELLAS Coming To An End

During a recent edition of their podcast, the Bella Twins addressed a number of topics, including Nikki's possible in-ring future. Last month, the former Divas Champion noted that her neck issues mean she's still not medically cleared to compete, and it sounds like nothing has really changed.

"Real quick on returning to the ring, because we see it everywhere, so in a quick little thing, there are no plans for Brie and I to return to the ring," Nikki confirmed. "I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to return to the ring as I am officially retired per our doctors. The day that we are warming up, practising, and maybe coming back, the Bella listeners will be the first to know."

"Do we miss the ring? Absolutely," Brie added. "We miss the WWE Universe, the Bella Army, and we would love to get back to the ring one day. It’s just not any time soon."

Fans hoping to continue following the Bella Twins in their E! reality TV series, Total Bellas, will obviously be disappointed as that series has ended back in January as ratings continued to fall. According to Nikki and Brie, though, that a desire to keep their family lives private was key to their decision.

Neither woman wanted their children to be on television, while husbands Bryan Danielson and Artem Chigvintsev also weren't keen on being included. "I could film 24/7, I love it," Nikki said. "Reality TV doesn’t bug me and people judging me doesn’t bug me. It’s when it comes to my family."

Time will tell when and where we see the Bellas next, but both women have various media deals through YouTube and TV networks, so we're sure to see more of them on our screens soon.
