Nikki Cross Defeats Bayley To Guarantee Alexa Bliss Another Title Shot At EXTREME RULES

Last night on SmackDown LIVE, Nikki Cross managed to defeat Women's Champion Bayley in a singles match, guaranteeing her "friend" Alexa Bliss another shot at the title at Extreme Rules. More past the jump.

Nikki Cross scored a victory over Bayley on SmackDown LIVE this week, which means Alexa Bliss will get another shot at the blue brand Women's Championship at the Extreme Rules PPV event.

Cross was a wild, unpredictable force of nature in NXT, so it's disheartening to see her reduced to Bliss' naive lackey on SmackDown. Granted, this will probably lead to a feud with Alexa which may drag the crazy out of her, but it really does seem like the former SAnitY member has had her wings clipped... just like most of the NXT Superstars that "move up" to the main roster.

At any rate, Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley is now set for Extreme Rules, so expect Nikki to factor into that match in some capacity.
