Nikki Cross Will Face Bayley For The SMACKDOWN Women's Title At CLASH OF CHAMPIONS

Does that sound familiar? After already facing Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Championship on two separate occasions over the past month of so, Nikki Cross will get another shot at Clash of Champions.

Nikki Cross is the new No. 1 contender for the SmackDown Women's Championship, and will face Bayley for the title at Clash of Champions.

Cross won a fatal 4-way match against Alexa Bliss, Lacey Evans and Tamina last night, and despite being hit with a Sister Abigail by her "friend" Lexi (she's gotta join forces with Bray Wyatt at some point... right?), the one-time SAniTy member managed to score the win with a rollup on Snuka.

Nikki Cross is awesome (even if her unstable NXT persona was much better) and can have a decent match with anyone, but is WWE really that short on talent in the women's division that we have to see her challenge Bayley for the title again? There's speculation that Alexa Bliss may get involved somehow and this match will become a triple-threat, but this still comes across as repetitive and uncreative booking.

How do you guys feel about Nikki Cross vs. Bayley at Clash of Champions? Drop us a comment down below.
