No, Goldberg Isn't Returning In Saudi Arabia To Challenge Kofi Kingston For The WWE Championship

Rumours have been swirling this week that Goldberg is being brought back by WWE to challenge Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship at that still untitled show in Saudi Arabia but it seems that isn't the case.

Earlier this week, we learned that WWE is bringing Goldberg back for their show in Saudi Arabia on June 7th.

As you might expect, rumours immediately started swirling that he would be wrestling at the show and it didn't take long for one story to start circulating that he was set to defeat Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship. Well, that's 100% false and, as of right now, WWE hasn't decided what the former Universal Champion is going to be doing at the show.

Another rumour doing the rounds is that Goldberg will square off with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and as he's also scheduled to appear in Saudi Arabia, WWE is planning to set that up then.

We'll have to wait and see but as of right now, those advertised to appear include Roman Reigns, The Undertaker, Kofi Kingston, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Goldberg, AJ Styles, and Lesnar.
