Yesterday, WWE announced that Paul Heyman will serve as the executive director of RAW, while Eric Bischoff will fill that role on SmackDown Live. Both men will report directly to Vince McMahon but there's been a lot of confusion about where that leaves Triple H.

Well, there's been some speculation online that Triple H turned down the chance to run SmackDown Live but multiple sources have now said that's false.

Not even Dave Meltzer knows what's going on with The Game and while he'll obviously remain in charge of NXT, he could have easily delegated those responsibilities. Instead, it seems he's more interesting in making the next wave of Superstars and happy to leave them in the hands of Heyman and Bischoff when they arrive on the main roster.

We'll be sure to let you guys know if we hear more.
