Despite still holding the NXT Championship, Karrion Kross made his main roster debut tonight on Raw... and lost for the first time since arriving in WWE.

The Duke of Doom made his way to the ring without Scarlett (the entrance just isn't the same), and we all thought we were going to witness a one-sided victory. But Jeff Hardy (who finally has new music), ended up pulling off what has to be considered an upset victory.

Kross delivered a few Saito Suplexes and looked poised to finish his opponent off with that elbow strike to the back of the neck, but Hardy ducked, hit a Twist of Fate, and climbed to the ropes to hit his Swanton Bomb. He didn't connect, but did counter another elbow attempt before rolling Kross up and using the ropes to gain the 3-count.

Nobody is very happy about this, especially because it just makes no damn sense to debut Kross when he's still NXT Champion - and without Scarlett to boot.

He's currently feuding with Samoa Joe (or soon will be) on the black and gold brand, so perhaps he'll drop the title before making Raw his new permanent home? We'll just have to wait and see.
