Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (September 16, 2025) is the NXT HOMECOMING special and emanates out of Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, airing at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.

This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT Homecoming:

On tap for tonight's episode, we're going to see a number of former NXT talent that are currently on the main roster step away from Raw and SmackDown for the night to be in attendance at Full Sail, even if it wasn't their old stomping grounds necessarily (while some will be from the black and gold era, still). Some of those are even scheduled to compete, but we'll likely see some cameo appearances from some others throughout the night as well.

The lineup is stacked, including Tyler Breeze having his first match in WWE since 2021 as he challenges Ethan Page for the North American title. My money's on the Canadian with the title, as opposed to the Canadian challenger.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair are already scheduled to face Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre soon for the women's tag titles, so there's no way they lose to The Culling. Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley will be a nice parallel to them, though, and should put up a decent fight.

Fatal Influence will be in trios action as those three face three of the most important women on the roster today in "Mami" Rhea Ripley, Lyra Valkyria (replacing the WWE women's champion Tiffany Stratton), and Stephanie Vaquer, who I expect to win.

Trick Melo Gang is also teaming back up to face #DIY. If this is going to continue, I'd bet on Gargano and Ciampa, but I think I'll stick with Trick and Melo winning this.

Oba Femi and Ricky Saints will also be on The Grayson Waller Effect to hype their upcoming NXT Championship match set to go down at No Mercy.

Here are your results for WWE NXT Homecoming - September 16, 2025:

  • The show opened with a video package, an old school intro, and Triple H coming to the ring to thank everyone for how special the bond is between Full Sail University and NXT. Shawn Michaels came out to gloat how much his kids are taking NXT to the next level, and William Regal then showed up to try to book Paul Levesque and The Heartbreak Kid in a WarGames match. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair came out after that and spoke about how the women's division has always been a highlight.
  • Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair (c) retained the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship over The Culling (Tatum Paxley and Izzi Dame) by pinfall.
  • Backstage, ZaRuca were arguing with each other. Lainey Reid and Candice LeRae interrupted to talk about how they'll be beating each other to earn a shot at Ruca's title, and Shayna Baszler then actually gave some advice to Sol Ruca and Zaria to patch things up, as their partnership is special.
  • Trick Melo Gang (Carmelo Hayes and TNA World Champion Trick Williams) defeated #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) by pinfall with some help from The Miz interfering.
  • Sami Zayn gave Je'Von Evans a pep talk backstage after Evans fought with Josh Briggs.
  • Ethan Page retained the NXT North American Championship over Tyler Breeze by pinfall.
  • Damian Priest praised Tavion Heights and announced that he spoke to Ava and got Heights a shot at the North American title for No Mercy.
  • On The Grayson Waller Effect with NXT Champion Oba Femi and Ricky Saints, Trick Williams interrupted and it was eventually booked that Williams will face Femi in a title-for-title match next week, with the winner going on to defend both the NXT and TNA World Championships against Saints for No Mercy.
  • Charlie Dempsey told Wren Sinclair that he's going to Japan for a month. Bobby Roode and Joe Hendry then popped up and had a chat.
  • Lexis King cut a promo in the ring about Myles Borne and said they will have a "lights out" match next week. King was then taken out by Borne and Finn Balor.
  • Montez Ford told DarkState that being tag team champions puts a big target on their backs.
  • Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer and Lyra Valkyria defeated Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx) by pinfall.
