Several matches were announced for next week's episode of NXT (August 12) and the following week after (August 19 - taking place in Philadelphia instead of the standard WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, like next week and per usual).
After DarkState went on the attack this week to not only beat up Hank Walker and Tank Ledger (who they will fight for the NXT Tag Team Championship at Heatwave), but also Oba Femi, Moose, Je'Von Evans, and Trick Williams, NXT General Manager Ava announced an eight-man tag team match for next week, as well as a No. 1 contender's match between Evans and Williams for August 19th to settle who gets the next shot at the NXT Championship against Femi at Heatwave.
Tired of seeing the chaos of Lash Legend and Nia Jax fighting—which they did backstage over multiple segments and even ringside in the main event of tonight's episode—Ava has booked those two against each other as well.
After Tavion Heights followed in Myles Borne's footsteps in leaving No Quarter Catch Crew, Wren Sinclair tried to cheer up Charlie Dempsey. Her idea was to sing Joe Hendry's theme, as that makes her happy. Hendry appeared (as per usual) and it seems he's going to face Dempsey, though to be fair, the match wasn't made official. It could take place in two weeks instead.
Speaking of Tavion Heights, he interrupted a promo Ethan Page was cutting in the ring about how much better Canada is than the United States of America. Chelsea Green and the Secret Hervice came out, joined Page in badmouthing both Heights and the United States, and the segment ended with Heights punching Page and claiming he'd find someone in the women's division to go after Chelsea, too. Nothing official for next week, but it is likely a mixed tag team match of some kind.
More in-fighting within Fatal Influence took place this week as Jazmyn Nyx was annoyed at Jacy Jayne for forcing her to shine her two title belts. To spite her, Nyx talked to Ava about booking Jayne and Fallon Henley in a tag team match against Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan.
Ricky Saints was interviewed by Kelly Kincaid about his recent fights with Jasper Troy. They'll battle it out in two weeks in Philadelphia.
Here are the cards as far as what we're aware of.
