NXT Trio The Forgotten Sons Debut On SMACKDOWN With A Victory Over Lucha House Party

Well, here's an NXT call-up nobody expected (or wanted). Last night on SmackDown, The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler, Jaxson Ryker and Wesley Blake) made their debut and defeated Lucha House Party...

The Forgotten Sons are on SmackDown! Excited? We thought not.

Steve Cutler, Jaxson Ryker and Wesley Blake made their blue brand debut last night, with Cutler and Blake (one of 'em has a new haircut... Blake, maybe?) representing the team with a victory over Lucha House Party. The trio weren't really being used on NXT at all over the past few months because, well, they're not very good.

We're not trying to be mean here, but The Forgotten Sons simply never got over in NXT, and it's not hard to see why. They're not very interesting, and their matches are nowhere near good enough to make up for it. That's all there is to it.

Maybe they will find a new lease of life on SmackDown, but we're not optimistic. There are some notable exceptions, of course, but in general tag-teams and factions don't benefit from leaving NXT for the "main roster."

Anyway, let's see what Vinny Mac has in store for.... ummm, what are their names again?
